Fresh properties - Density

The measured density (EN 12350-6) of the fresh concrete is shown below. The density is as expected lower for the air entrained concrete than of the three non air entrained concretes (Mixes G, L, O). Also, it is noted that the density of air entrained slump concrete after homogenization (Large block 1+2) is for most concretes lower than the density of the individual batches (Large block 1 and Large block 2), i.e. an indication that the air content increases during homogenization.
