As part of the activities carried
out in the project "Ny teknologi til anlægskonstruktioner" (New
technology for infrastructure constructions) Danish Technological
Institute has authored a handbook (in Danish) on the topic
'condition assessment of concrete structures'. The handbook is a
visually based tool and may be regarded as a complement to current
standards and existing guidelines concerned with condition
assessments and deterioration mechanisms of various construction
types.
The book is primarily aimed at students and others with little
or no experience within this field. But the book is also intended
as a practical guide for owners, contractors, architects and
advisors, who might need to get an overview of the various relevant
options for investigating concrete structures that has suffered
from typical concrete damages.
The handbook is available in four different versions:
