Mix design

Fifteen concrete compositions were selected for testing. The nominal compositions are shown in the tables below. The concretes A-G and J-O all had a nominal w/c-ratio of 0.400, whereas concrete H had a w/c-ratio of 0.450 and concrete I a w/c-ratio of 0.350.

The nominal target air content was 4.5 % for air entrained concrete and 2.0 % for non air entrained concrete. The target consistency was 160 mm for slump concrete and 580 mm slump flow for SCC.
